Booking Terms

How bookings, confirmations and changes work.

1. Making a booking

A booking request becomes a confirmed booking when payment has been approved and the provider has confirmed. Until both have happened, the booking is provisional. You will see the exact status on your booking page at every stage.

2. What is included

The listing describes what is included. Anything not listed is not included — typically flights, visas, insurance, meals and personal spending. Where travel or logistics are part of a service, the provider and their team arrange them and the cost is built into the price they quote.

3. Payment

All payments stay on Congif

Every payment for a booking, experience, video call, membership, fan card or any other service must be made through Congif. Paying a provider, guide, agent or any individual directly — by bank transfer, cash, gift card, a private crypto wallet or any other method — is a breach of these terms.

Payments made outside Congif carry no booking protection, no refund rights and no dispute support. We cannot recover money that never passed through the platform. Nobody from our team will ever ask you to pay outside the platform, and no provider is permitted to request it.

If anyone asks you to pay directly, stop the conversation and report it immediately from the chat menu or through our contact page. Accounts that solicit off-platform payment are suspended permanently.

Crypto payments are confirmed manually after our team reviews your proof of payment. Wallet payments are instant. Some listings do not accept wallet balance; the checkout screen tells you before you pay.

4. Confirmation and contact

Once your payment is approved, a private conversation with the provider opens automatically in your inbox. Agree the final details there. Keep everything in that conversation — it is your record if anything is disputed.

5. Changes

Ask for changes in the booking conversation as early as you can. Providers are not obliged to accept a change, and a change of date or scope may alter the price. Any price difference is settled through the platform.

6. If the provider cancels

If a provider cancels a confirmed booking, you receive a full refund to your wallet, and you may choose a crypto payout instead. We also review the provider’s account: repeated cancellations affect their trust score and can lead to removal.

7. If you cancel

See our Cancellation Policy.

8. No-shows

If you do not attend a confirmed booking without notice, no refund is due. If the provider does not attend, tell us within 48 hours and we will investigate and refund you in full where the claim is upheld.

9. Conduct

Both sides must behave lawfully, respectfully and safely. Providers may end a booking immediately if a member is abusive, intoxicated to the point of risk, or asks for anything illegal — in that case no refund is due. Members may end a booking and claim a refund if a provider behaves in the same way.

10. Recording and publicity

Do not photograph, film or record a provider without their explicit permission, and never publish material that a provider has asked you to keep private. The same applies in reverse.

11. Video calls

Video calls are arranged in the booking conversation after payment. The duration is stated in the listing. Recording a video call requires the other person’s written consent in the conversation.

12. Disputes

See our Dispute Policy. Raise a problem within 48 hours of the booking date wherever possible — evidence is much easier to assess while it is fresh.
