Trust and safety

Protection you can point at

Meeting someone new should be exciting, not risky. Here is exactly what we check, what we hold, and what we do when something goes wrong.

Verified providers

A verified tick is not decoration. To earn it a provider submits a government-issued document and a live selfie, and a member of our team compares them against the public profile. Social accounts are checked separately.

  • Identity documents are stored for verification only.
  • A tick is removed the moment a profile stops matching the person behind it.
  • Providers who break the rules are suspended, not quietly hidden.

Protected payments

Every payment runs through Congif. Funds are held after your booking is confirmed and released to the provider only once it is complete, so there is always something to unwind if plans change.

  • Crypto transfers are confirmed by a person, not a bot.
  • Refunds follow a written policy shown before you pay.
  • Your wallet balance is yours; withdrawals are reviewed and paid out.

Moderated conversations

Chat stays on the platform so there is a record if a dispute ever appears. Our system flags language that suggests an off-platform payment, and flagged threads are reviewed by the safety team.

You can block or report anyone from inside the conversation, and blocking is immediate.

Reports we act on

Every profile, post, experience and conversation has a report button. Fraud and safety reports are looked at first, ahead of everything else in the queue.

You are told what happened to your report. Accounts that are suspended may appeal once, and an appeal is read by a human.

The one rule that protects everything else

All payments stay on Congif. No provider, no agent and nobody claiming to work for us will ever ask you to send money to a personal wallet, a bank account or a payment app. A request like that is the clearest sign of fraud there is. Do not pay, do not argue — report it, and we will handle it.

Meeting in person

Sensible habits, whether it is a meet and greet or a week of travel.

Keep the arrangement in writing

Agree the place, the time and what is included inside the Congif chat. If it is not written down, it is much harder for us to help later.

Meet somewhere public first

A hotel lobby, a restaurant, a venue. Tell someone you trust where you are going and when you expect to be back.

Keep your documents and money with you

Never hand over your passport, cards or phone, and never accept a request to move money on someone else's behalf.

Trust the feeling in the room

If something is off, leave. Then tell us. Nobody at Congif will question you for ending a booking early because you felt unsafe.
