About Alperen Sengun
Passing out of the post is a timing skill, and I have practised it since I was sixteen playing professionally in Turkey — read the second defender, wait half a beat, deliver. Footwork and touch matter more than leaping for the way I play. Anchoring Houston's offence and leading the national team at EuroBasket asked me to grow up quickly on both sides of the floor. Big-man craft and the European route into the NBA are my subjects.
