About Alphonso Davies
Sessions with me usually run fast and stay light — questions about pace, one-on-one defending and playing left-back in a team that attacks constantly, mixed with whatever you actually want to ask. I was born in a refugee camp, grew up in Edmonton, and now play in Munich, so I do not take much of this for granted. For young players I am happy to be blunt about the work.
