About Amy Chua
I began in practice as a lawyer, then found that the questions I actually cared about were better asked in a classroom than in a deal room. Teaching law became the centre of my working life, and the writing followed from it: books meant for readers well outside the field. Whether the conversation is about a legal argument, a career decision or a chapter that refuses to behave, I like it specific.
