About Angela Beesley Starling
I came to this from the early web, editing and moderating in volunteer communities long before any of it was a job. Co-founding Wikia meant turning that instinct into infrastructure: hosting thousands of communities and working out how strangers govern shared writing without a boss. I talk about moderation, contributor retention, trust and safety, and why the hardest problems in collaborative platforms are social rather than technical.
