About Angerfist
Everything begins with the kick. I spend more time shaping a single kick - its tail, its distortion, the way it sits against everything else - than most people would believe, because in hardcore that sound is the song. From there it's tempo, tension and knowing exactly when to drop it all out. Sets get built the same way: pressure, release, pressure again. I'm glad to go into sound design, gear and how a hardcore record is put together.
