Ann Wilson
Lead voice of Heart on Barracuda, Crazy on You and Alone, still singing rock at full power on stage and on record.
About Ann Wilson
Seattle clubs are where this started, playing to rooms that were not listening, then driving north to Vancouver to cut a first record nobody expected much from. Barracuda and Crazy on You changed that overnight. Decades on, I have learned how to protect a voice built for volume, and I still walk out looking for the note that costs something. Solo records let me sing outside the catalogue.
