About Anoushka Shankar
Raga practice still anchors my days — alap first, slowly, before anything modern is allowed in the room. My father taught me that discipline, and everything I have written since, including 'Traces of You', is an attempt to let it meet flamenco, electronics or a film cue without either side losing its shape. I welcome questions about sitar technique, raga structure, or working across traditions without flattening them.
