Energy management wins Formula E races, not raw speed, so I spend races doing arithmetic at 200 kilometres an hour while defending a position. That mindset took me to the 2019-20 title and into Porsche's factory line-up, where I switch between electric single-seaters and endurance sports cars. Racing since childhood in Portugal, I have learned that the difference between a good weekend and a bad one is usually preparation. Ask me about strategy; I will happily overexplain.
