About Arooj Aftab
Lahore is where I started, teaching myself guitar and uploading covers before I'd ever played a real venue; Berklee and then Brooklyn taught me production. Vulture Prince came out of grief and turned into a Grammy, which still feels strange to say out loud. My work sits between ghazal, minimalism and ambient, and I'm glad to talk arrangement, voice, or how to build a record slowly.
