About Caldwell Esselstyn
I trained as a physician when much of my field treated disease late rather than early, and that shaped everything I did afterwards. Over a long career in medicine I moved from hospital practice toward prevention, then toward writing for readers outside it. I have also rowed for most of my life. What I offer now is conversation about that work: how evidence is read, how habits change, and how a long career is sustained.
