Most of my bookings start with 'Hawa' and end up somewhere else entirely — village theatre, the Bengali language, why a fisherman's silence carries a whole film. I came up through group theatre in Dhaka before television and cinema, and I still think of a stage audience when I act. If you grew up on Bangladeshi drama serials, we will have plenty to talk about.
