About Colin Baker
Acting, for me, starts with the text — where the breath falls, which word carries the line, what the character wants in the half-second before speaking. Decades of stage, television and studio work have taught me that the technique is mostly listening. I enjoy talking shop with people who want to understand how a performance is built, and I still get a lift from a room that is paying attention.
