I write from the punchline out - one line that lands, then the verse built around it. Most of my work starts with a beat looping until a cadence shows up, then hours of rewriting until every bar earns its place. New York shapes the rhythm of it: the pacing, the humour, the way a story gets told sideways. On here I'll talk craft, records and the rooms where they get made.
