About Gabriel Orozco
Xalapa, then Mexico City, then a year studying in Madrid, though really my studio has always been the street, a bicycle, a camera. Slicing a Citroën lengthwise and welding it back thinner taught me more than any gallery ever did. I work between sculpture, photography, drawing and gardens, and lately public projects.
