About Ha-Joon Chang
Economics, in my view, should be argued about the way we argue about politics — openly, in ordinary words, with the assumptions on the table. I teach at SOAS University of London and have spent decades writing about industrial policy, development and the histories that rich countries prefer to forget. I like being disagreed with, and I try to make the disagreement useful rather than merely loud.
