About Harith Iskander
I began telling jokes in Kuala Lumpur when Malaysia had almost no stand-up scene to speak of: small rooms, borrowed stages, an audience learning the form alongside me. Three decades on, I have toured, hosted television, taken a world title in 2016 and spent a great many evenings holding corporate ballrooms together. This country's comedy grew up as I did, and I am proud of both.
