Headhunterz
Dutch DJ and record producer working in hardstyle - melodic, high-tempo tracks written for main stages, and the studio process behind them.
About Headhunterz
I write hardstyle from the melody outwards - the lead comes first, then the kick is shaped around it until the two sit together at full volume. Tracks get tested loud, cut back, and tested again before they leave the studio. Having started out as part of a duo, I know how much of this work is collaborative, and I'm happy to talk through arrangement, sound design and how a set is built for a big room.
