About Iko Uwais
I build fight scenes the way I was taught to train: slow, repeated, then full speed. Every sequence starts on the mat, breaking silat movement into beats a camera can read, then rehearsing until the timing belongs to the actors rather than the edit. I work closely with stunt teams and directors on rhythm, distance and safety. On here I talk about how sequences are designed, drilled and shot.
