About James Hinchcliffe
Explaining racing is its own craft, and calling races taught me to say the useful thing in four seconds. Before the booth came six IndyCar wins, a 500 pole and a long comeback after a crash at Indianapolis that should have ended things. I still get a kick out of hosting people at a race weekend, walking them through a pit stop, or answering the questions fans are slightly embarrassed to ask. Canadian, chatty, extremely fond of ovals.
