About Jill Heinerth
Cave diving is Heinerth's field, documented in her book Into the Planet and in her role as the first Explorer-in-Residence of the Royal Canadian Geographical Society. Explorers in this position are generally engaged for lectures, expedition consultation, and remote sessions with dive teams, classrooms or film crews. Fieldwork carries her to underwater systems well beyond Ontario, and travel bookings are scheduled around it.
