John Arcilla
Title role in 'Heneral Luna' and Volpi Cup winner at Venice for 'On the Job: The Missing 8'.
About John Arcilla
I give people the full performer, because that is who I am off set as well. Playing Antonio Luna asked for volume and fury; the Venice role asked for something colder and quieter. I trained in theatre in Manila, I sing, and I care about Philippine history the way some people care about sport. Conversations with me tend to run long and end up somewhere political, which I make no apology for.
