John Nettles
Screen and stage actor turned writer, best known for long-running British television detective drama, meeting visitors in Cornwall.
About John Nettles
I started in repertory theatre, learning the craft on stages where the audience was close enough to hear you think. Television found me later, and I spent decades in detective drama, which taught me pace, patience and the value of a good script. Writing came after that. I enjoy talking about how a part is built, how a scene is shaped, and what a long run does to an actor.
