About Julien Baker
I started out playing in a punk band in Memphis and only went solo because the songs got too quiet for a room that size. Sprained Ankle was recorded in a couple of days; Little Oblivions took much longer and cost more. Between boygenius and my own records I've learned to hold honesty and boundaries at the same time. I like talking craft, sobriety and guitar tunings.
