About Katrin Heß
A role starts on the page for me: what she wants, what she is hiding, what she would never say out loud. From there it turns physical — voice, tempo, where the tension sits in the body. Television moves fast, so I prepare in detail and then stay loose enough to throw it out on the day. I am happy to talk about audition work, scene preparation, and finding something true inside a short shooting schedule.
