Growing up in the Cayman Islands means the nearest race track is a flight away, so most weekends of my teenage years were spent in transit. Sports cars came first and gave me the 2023 European Le Mans Series LMP2 title, then Chip Ganassi Racing put me in an IndyCar. Standing on that podium as the first Caymanian mattered to a very small island that watches every single race.
