About Laura Dekker
Everything I know about sailing came from doing it slowly: maintaining the boat myself, planning passages around weather windows, learning celestial and electronic navigation until both felt ordinary. Sailing alone across oceans taught me routine — eat, sleep, check the rig, write it down. I work best with people who want the practical side: provisioning, self-steering, night watches, and the honest business of fixing things far from land.
