I build records from the drums up - a break, a bassline, and then weeks of pushing samplers and hardware until the track hits the way it does live. Most of my work happens in the studio rather than in front of a camera, so what I can offer here is time to talk through process: how a track gets arranged, why a sound survives the cut, and what changes once it meets a crowd.
