Running a media company changed how I approach hardware. We built an actual lab because opinions age badly and measurements don't: colour meters, acoustic chambers, standardized benchmark runs, all so a claim can be checked later. Before that I spent years in retail explaining components to people across a counter, which is still the voice I write in. Ask me about PC building, testing methodology, or scaling a studio.
