Luka Špik
Slovenian rower on sculling technique, crew rhythm and the ergometer work behind two thousand metres
About Luka Špik
Rowing rewards patience with detail. Boat speed comes from the same stroke repeated well thousands of times, from blade timing shared between two people, and from a rhythm you can hold for two thousand metres without panic. I talk about sculling technique, ergometer work, and how a crew builds trust across a season. My interest is in method rather than mythology, and in what actually moves a boat.
