About Marcos Galperin

A business school assignment in California turned into a company I have run for more than twenty-five years. MercadoLibre began as an auction site for a region most investors had written off, and grew into marketplace, logistics and payments infrastructure used across Latin America. I survived the dot-com crash by cutting hard and staying long. What I most like discussing is capital allocation, competition, and why patience beats prediction.
