About Markus Villig
I started Bolt at nineteen by calling Tallinn taxi drivers one at a time and asking what the existing apps got wrong. That habit — go to the drivers, then build — still shapes how we run the company across Europe and Africa. Ride-hailing, scooters, food delivery and car sharing all sit on the same operational problem: reliability at scale, at a price ordinary people can pay. I am glad to talk product, competition, and building a technology company from a small country.
