Matsuko Deluxe
Host of TBS's Matsuko's Unknown World, columnist and Japan's sharpest interviewer of obsessive experts
About Matsuko Deluxe
Writing came long before any of this — columns and editing work, years spent behind the page rather than in front of a lens. Television arrived late and almost by accident, and I stayed because I enjoy arguing with enthusiasts about the things they love too much. A weekly show about other people's obsessions suits me: blunt, curious, and never pretending to be anything other than this.
