About Mona El Shazly
A young presenter's job at a small channel turned into twenty years of nightly television. Al Ashera Masaan ran through some of Egypt's loudest years, and Maakom continues that conversation with writers, artists and ordinary people who deserve a full hour of real attention. I prepare obsessively and I still get nervous. If you want to talk about interviewing, or about the guests who changed how I see my own country, I am glad to.
