About Monica Iozzi
I came out of theatre in the interior of São Paulo and into a reporting job I had never planned for - presenting, reacting live, learning to be funny on a deadline. Acting followed, and the two have run side by side ever since: scripted drama and comedy on one hand, live television on the other. I enjoy talking about the switch between them, and about holding an audience when there is no second take.
