About Nduduzo Makhathini
Sessions with me often begin with silence, then a chord, then a long conversation. I record for Blue Note, teach jazz at university, and treat the piano as part of a healing tradition I inherited long before I studied it. In the Spirit of Ntu came directly from that. Students, listeners and other pianists are all welcome; I am used to explaining things slowly.
