About Nicholas Pettas
Karate taught me structure before it taught me power. Stance, distance, timing, then contact, in that order, every session, for as long as I have trained. I moved to Japan to learn the style at its source and stayed on to teach and to work on screen, which asks for the same control from a different angle. When I coach, I break technique down slowly and let repetition do the rest.
