About Nils Frahm
I work in rooms first — tuning a space, felting hammers, choosing which microphone hears the mechanism rather than the note. Much of 'All Melody' came from that patience, built at Funkhaus over two years. Piano Day started as a small idea: give the instrument a date in the calendar and see who turns up.
