Olafur Eliasson
Artist behind Tate Modern's 'The Weather Project'; my studio builds work from light, water, fog and geometry
About Olafur Eliasson
My studio runs like a workshop rather than an office — engineers, architects, cooks and archivists all in one building, prototyping with mirrors, mist and coloured light until a phenomenon becomes reliable enough to share. What interests me is not the object but what a visitor does with their own perception inside it. Studio conversations tend to move between material tests, climate work and how institutions might behave differently.
