I shoot first and theorise later. Get the camera in your hands, chase light, then work out afterwards why a frame worked. Colour grading is where I spend most of my time now, building looks that hold up in print and in motion. Ten years of wedding and commercial work taught me how to stay calm when conditions fall apart. Portfolio reviews and location shoots are my favourite way to teach.
