About Protoje
Saint Elizabeth gave me two traditions before I picked one: my mother sang, my father played calypso. I released my first record in my late twenties, late by industry standards, then spent years building In.Digg.Nation so artists from home could keep their masters. Roots music with modern low end is my lane. I'll talk writing, label building, or the state of the Jamaican scene honestly.
