An expedition is won on the paperwork. Loads calculated to the gram, rations tested before they are trusted, sledges packed so the thing you need at forty below is the thing your hand finds first. I have spent a working life in cold places and hot ones, and the method transfers: plan hard, start early, keep moving. I am happy to talk logistics, endurance and the unglamorous parts nobody photographs.
