About Suzanne Al Houby
Palestinian by birth, Dubai-based by choice, I came to mountains late, after years in a corporate career, and found that altitude asks better questions than boardrooms do. In 2011 I became the first Arab woman on the summit of Everest, and I have since built Rahhalah Explorers to take people from this region into the Alps, the Himalaya and Kilimanjaro. I especially like coaching first-time trekkers, women above all, through the part where they doubt themselves.
