About Tadanobu Asano
Turn up expecting an artist more than a celebrity. I have been acting since I was sixteen, with Miike, Kitano, Kore-eda and lately an American production that took over two years of my life, and in between I paint and play music. What holds my attention is the strangeness in a character — the part that does not add up. I am far better company on a set visit than at a party.
