About Tim Minchin
I write at the piano, and most of what I make starts as a lyric idea I keep worrying at until the rhyme lands and the joke earns its place. Comedy, music and acting have never felt like separate jobs to me; they are the same instinct pointed at different rooms. Here I am glad to talk craft, songwriting, and the long unglamorous business of rewriting. Whether it is a short hello or a longer conversation, I would rather be specific than general.
