About Tran Thanh
From stand-up clubs in Saigon to the finals of Rap Viet, hosting has been my trade for twenty years. Directing came later: Bo Gia and Nha Ba Nu put Vietnamese audiences in cinemas in numbers we had not seen before. I still write, still perform, still sit in the edit room until a scene is right. Appearances and personal messages are how I make time for the people who filled those seats.
