Practice for me is mostly listening back — recording a phrase, hating it, finding the voice inside the texture that should lead. Living with the Goldbergs for a full season taught me that structure and intimacy are not opposites. Reykjavík keeps me honest; the light and the silence there shape how I pace a programme.
