About Vladimir Cosma
A theme has to survive being played on one instrument before I will let an orchestra near it. That test has shaped everything I have written, for the concert hall and for the screen alike, and my early years on the violin are the reason I hear the parts from the inside. Conducting my own music is where the writing gets finished. I enjoy discussing composition, orchestration and how a score is built to serve a story.
