Walter Block
Austrian School economist and anarcho-capitalist writer, lecturing and debating free-market theory, property rights and price reasoning.
About Walter Block
I teach economics by argument: take a position to its logical end, invite the strongest objection, and see whether the reasoning survives. My work sits in the Austrian tradition - subjective value, prices as information, voluntary exchange - and I have spent decades defending it in lecture halls and against able opponents. I enjoy a hostile question more than a friendly one, and I prepare for seminars and student audiences the same way.
